About the Pattern
The Osage Hills Quilt Pattern was designed to honor the beauty, history, and spirit of Osage Hills Retreat Center in Oklahoma. Inspired by the land where creativity and friendship flourish, this pattern blends two timeless quilt blocks – Road to Oklahoma and On the Oregon Trail – to create a design that feels both classic and new.
The solid color version captures the harmony of light, sky, land, and earth through shades of white, blue, green, and brown. In addition, the print version features playful s’mores-themed fabric, a tribute to one of our retreat’s most cherished traditions – gathering around the fire pit to laugh, roast marshmallows, and share stories.
Created in collaboration with Purple Daisy Quilt Designs, this pattern reflects the artistry and community spirit that define Osage Hills Retreat. Every stitch tells a story of connection, creativity, and joy.
Skill Level & Size
This pattern is written for advanced beginners and finishes at 60” x 72”. You’ll need basic quilting knowledge, including accurate cutting, straight-line piecing, and consistent ¼” seam allowances. The clear instructions make this an enjoyable project from start to finish.
